My version of this is that startups are a tiny subset in the space of possible businesses. (I've written about it at commoncog.com/blog/dont-take) This isn't particularly new if you've studied businesses. But the cacophony of VC 'content marketing' may well obscure the fact.

It's hard to hear above the cacophony of content centered ard startup. What other types of content abt businesses do u think there shd be?

That’s interesting to think about. Right now I’m getting a good bit of my fix from the finance people, since they have to be good at evaluating businesses if they want to acquire. Even better: if you find someone who focuses on small business dynamics + is an operator.

Yea, I already follow brent beshore before this tweet. But i wonder how universally applicable the stuff I find on my own truly is… WHich was why I like the chinese biz man series on your blog. It seems something that’s applicable to me here in SG
