You buy this? It's the EXACT same line of thinking that is thought and said every single time we are about to experience a major paradigm shift. Go back all the way to 50s and we had smart people say exact same nonsense "no new tech on horizon, you can't beat incumbents".

Perez’s thesis is way more nuanced than that. Applied, her theory says that semiconductor+network-based innovation has entered a deployment age, and therefore good innovations now are applications of the tech.
Financial capital is best applied to other emerging paradigm shifts.

I’ve listened to her on a podcast and read ’s summary, but, no, I really should get around to finishing her book.
Her blog series on Medium is pretty neat, though, and I’ve read half of that.

Yes you’re right.
my head says it’s not immediately applicable for one’s career over the short term but Long term wise it might be useful for small minority. Still a weak maybe.
