Turns out moving print books across the Pacific is quite the endeavour. My carry-on bag is filled with them and I am not ashamed to not own a Kindle 🤓

I love paper, too, but having moved homes a dozen time over the past decade, love for paper competes with more pragmatic moving concerns.
I’m interested to see if the same considerations apply to you too, after a few years!

ah, that’s an interesting perspective.
I like to playfully browse and pick random books off my shelf and read my notes on the margin; which I don’t really do with ebooks. A physical shelf is also a great conversation starter for anyone visiting.

It's one of my dreams to have a large, beautiful bookshelf when I finally settle down in one place. Sometimes I surf the net and look at bookshelves 😩
