Seriously surprised by

claiming that battery bulging could be caused by "too few cycle counts on the battery". Out gassing usually happens at charge/discharging. And low cycle count imples the battery was held charged for long time.

service after this incident. 1yr after MBP battery replacement, battery was bulging again. And I had to pay for it. It isn't my fault your charge controller isn't doing it's job. Suggesting I discharge my machine to 50% everytime is just lame!

I'm OK with

saying your MBP is out of warranty, any repairs will need to be charged. But stop making stupid excuses for why the battery is bloating again (you can't leave it charged all the time). #usersarentchargecontrollers

Have you tried to Voss them? A friend got a free replacement by just being persistently Voss-y. (But then again maybe the Macbook is too old, and they can't absorb the cost of the replacement).
