I don’t know any seriously good company that’s 100% happy with their hiring process. But absence of productively tweaking hiring criteria is likely a negative signal.

Maybe the general rule is: certain classes of organisational design problems are so hard you’re never really done; the act of struggling is itself a positive signal. Stay away from companies that don’t even bother.
