I’d be curious to know how he defines rationality. System 1 vs System 2 appears to be a really useful model; that it is reductive doesn’t really bother me (old but about all models being reductive, but some are useful?)

Just finished this! Am curious to hear what you got out of it. The strongest takeaway for me is a renewed appreciation for Rota’s ‘bag of tricks’ comment.

I love that post. So many takeaways for me. Ultimately I boil down to 3 things 1. Choose right *kind* of abstraction 2. Choose right *level* of abstraction 3. Embrace ur style but learn from other’s style without overly imitating Did u enjoy it?
