When you’re busy, reading non-fiction books are a privilege. Most people can only afford to read articles. The truly time-strapped read tweets or FB posts.
I wonder what this says about us as an attention economy.

I wonder what this says about how we prioritize our time...
Add up all the time "busy" people spend scrolling social media in a week and I bet you could trade that time in for more than a few chapters.

I’ll have to think about this take. Books are intimidating if you’re busy and tired enough. As are long articles. I’m more inclined to see it as having a severely constrained resource (attention)
