I ran out of instant oats for breakfast two weeks ago. Oddly, I now find the ritual of stirring steel cut oats over the stove very satisfying. I might choose this for the long term! 🥣

Makes for a nice morning ritual, also satisfying to get the timing for the perfect consistency down.

I usually pre-toast them and just add milk and nuts in the morning. I like the crunchy chewy texture.
