I find “strong opinions loosely held” laudable but nearly impossible to do, in ways that are attributable to universal human nature. I now suspect that anyone who says they are able to act in such a manner are either superhuman or lying.

I think to be more precise in practice it’s often something like “weak opinions, strongly *expressed*, loosely held”
