Made pan-fried bread for the first time today.
Very fun (& delicious), but if you suck you'll need lots of flour, and I found it quite messy.

Hadn't even thought of that. Will have to try, though I'm not sure the old electric oven here is up to the task.

Do it on the pan, but use the same technique as with the grilled pizza. (Meaning oil first, then cheese, then sauce.)

The oil will heat up first, providing enough heat to melt the cheese, and the sauce is easy to warm so it goes last. Then toppings, of course. Took me a bit of trial & error before I realised that’s why they use that order for grilled pizza.
