My current favourite thing to do is to buy a second hand, reasonably priced, mid-tier router and to install it for friends and family. Telco-provided routers are so shit the upgrade usually feels like getting bumped up an internet tier. It’s amazing.

If you haven’t replaced your telco-provided router yet, consider doing this. It’ll cost you only S$70-100 but it’s a huge quality of life upgrade.
