This problem would go away if the government just required companies to turn over a number of non-voting shares equal to the tax target(e.g. 21 percent). Shares get exact same treatment as voting shares, but give no control. It would work, but far too simple to be taken seriously

Better let's just admit that taxation is throwing money down the toilet and that government is the worst solution to the problem it's trying tti solve. Microsoft would not be this without the thousands of government barriers to entry against competition it erected on the way up!
