I think you need to distinguish which kind of stress. I think it’s
@avantgame who talks about eustress from a project you like vs. distress. Money stress is almost always distress but work can be either.
I’d be interested in delineating types of work stress also. I experience two kinds: the usual challenges of system development, but also the need to simultaneously protect it from powers of darkness in high places. The latter is where the vast majority of my energy goes.

That's been my experience too. I find the stress of the "work" fine, sometimes even enjoyable. The stress of protecting the work or my position are super draining.
