genuine windows 10 setup is the worst thing I have ever experienced
immediately started autoplaying audio to my office
strongly considering pirating a copy so I dont have to deal with this

yes that's not present in my build, nor in any of the nearby nor subsidiary menus probably going to have to install a program from the manufacturer to manage this directly

microsoft recently moved a big chunk (most?) of the windows group to azure and bing so this might happen (though it'll probably be chromeos or android and not debian)

windows for the gaming market was basically subsidized by selling windows licenses for corporate computer fleets to go along with exchange, active directory, etc servers, but now that stuff is moving to "the cloud" and they're updating priorities accordingly

The proliferation of apps built into Windows with which you can change various system settings (but never all of them) has continued for about 20 years. One assumes there are micro-fiefdoms within MSFT keeping these utilities alive and separate.

Finding the sent and received bytes over wifi since last reboot takes five clicks...or more like 40 if you don't know exactly where to go
