Would you eat feces like up-and-coming steaks in Japan?

Am I really the only person that would try a shit steak? Asked this question at a conference a couple of weeks ago and will probably never be able to live it down.

all I'm saying is that to be fully in touch with your human ancestry is to relish eating anything and everything. there's never been a more omnivorous, food-curious thing in the history of the world than us.

this is an interesting take and I'll think it over although also note 1/8 of my human ancestry explicitly proscribes eating pork hmm

that was just to "other" the pork-eating neighbors down the road. makes it so much easier to brutalize them if you're primed to be disgusted by them because of what they eat.

world peace will be achieved through ritualized "eating the shadow" whereby we deliberately eat the most disgusting food regularly consumed by our outgroup and learn to love it and love them for having produced it
