I mean he has the occasional insight, but the logorrhea and the real bad case of "Women, are they vegetable or mineral" is mildly offputting

lol dont summon him that's probably about right. i don't read him regularly for this reason, I rely on others to direct his good takes onto my tl think his existence and prominence is a direct result of taboos on acknowledging differences across groups crossed w/ manic . . .

yeah i think my objection is to the taboos per se maybe or perhaps to their strength or breadth or maybe to their unbalancedness, like I bet tabooing discussions of group differences would be better if we taboo'd identity politics too
