Hard to put a full order on even within different types of castlevanias. Super Castlevania 4 and Rondo of Blood stand out among the original style. SotN, Aria of Sorrow both very good among the metroidvanias but I think all of the DS/GBA ones are quite good? never tried a 3d one

Of the ones I've played... 1.)Aria of Sorrow (perfect game) 2.)Dawn of Sorrow (more of the same) 3.)Portrait of Ruin (quality game, decent gimmick, anime art sucked) 4.)Circle of the Moon (fine, basic) 5.)Order of Ecclesia (really wanted to like this one but it just felt off)
