i'm pro-"what if the good thing is actually good" but anti-"what if pleasant things are actually as nice as they seem"... or maybe the opposite?

depends on whether it's "some things that seem like they seem good but are actually bad are good" and "all good seeming things are good" or "don't criticize the thing i like, hiss" and "things that seem pleasant are generally not in need of deconstruction"
