if your goal is one armed it won't get you there as fast as training directly

also tbh I would get so many near injuries doing weighted

huh are you sure? seems like the movement is more natural than one arming, also same as two armed just . . . harder

im telling you, I have never been closer to srs injury multiple times then doing weighted pull ups even put me out of commission for a bit

there must be more delicate random small parts that dont do well under crazy weight or sumthin idk
