I like having a DO, they're a bit more hands-on. And always go for someone young/relatively fresh out of med school.

oh and if you can't find a DO, get an NP. They spend more time with patients and actually listen to you. -
I have a really good feeling about nurses for a bunch of reasons I can't discuss because opsec. Might be easier to find too. Cool :)

More important: Optimize for having them be only ~15 years older than you. If young, don't go for an "old" doc, you want them around later!
