if you like lab work there's careers in that but mostly careers in lab science are miserable alternative, do you like math/stats

so that's pretty solid, downside is you either need to kaggle up and get some creds + internships, or alternatively hit a MS/PhD program

yeah probably this i went uni route 100% but if you can claw your way into an internship and perform seems like companies will keep you
