maybe $100 AMZN to get a first round of stuff, $100 at Sephora to round out + justify a demo? basically resigned to this = exorbitant, heh
hmmm I went with this, reviewers said it was a better introduction than making faces. bad choice? https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/0446581348/ …

the thing with books like that is they're good to binge-research, and they're good as references once you get going,
-
but i dont think like....going through and trying every look in a row ...is particularly fun or feasible
-
try looking up "beginner budget makeup" (or similar) on yt, browsing through channels for someone with similar appearance n style u like
-
did i help or overwhelm/confuse

100% help will pass on your general recs, start with amazon card maybe, add sephora if/when she thinks it'd be useful thank you :)
-
you can also totally go to sephora/ulta/etc and look at/try stuff, then buy online
-
also def worth researching dupes. hecka strong community online and while expensive make up is nice most things can be achieved way cheaper
