if issue w/ shutting down while ssh'd into workstation is shell + child processes closing, tmux *on workstation* fixes that

ahhh. I see what you're getting at. sadly I was doing shutdown **in my workstation shell** --> full hardware power down from 3m away

yeah that's probably the elegant solution. was going to alias shutdown anyway, might as well build the safeguard into it
