The blackpill is that the end all these protests are fruitless and the government is going to push through whatever they want anyway so ;/ In January we had major riots against curfew in like half the countries but it happened anyway.

Same purpose they always serve everywhere they are implemented. Reduce the spread of Covid and reduce stress on the hospital system.

Before the vaccines you had to think about what you wanted to do temporarily until the vaccines arrived. Now they're here and you have to make the decision: what you want to do *forever*. What 'spread' is there then? The spread of an endemic disease can't be limited eternally.

It’s a temporary reaction to rising case levels and hospital capacity. The need lessens when we have vaccines, therapeutics. This is all really basic stuff. “Forever” does even factor in Christ.
