That probably means lower charges right? Like for having a gun as a minor

I ain't gonna read anything this clickbait, but IIRC in some jurisdictions charges can include lesser offenses. E.G. prosecutors can bring a murder charge, but the jury has the option to convict on manslaughter if they think the prosecution met the burden for man but not murder.

"Minor in possession of a firearm" isn't a crime in any state I'm aware of, but any possession or purchase-related crimes would be separate charges, not lesser included offenses.

E: Apparently Wisconsin does criminalize as a misdo possession of a firearm by a minor, under Juvenile Justice Code 948.60. Also prohibits nunchaku, shuriken, cestii, and manrikigusari by name. No word on Glaive-Guisarmes, Lucern Hammers, or Morning Stars https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/948/60 …
