Outside of one topic, I'm pretty good at rationalizing my past into 'made the best call with what I knew' because I mostly did. Although that one topic of cringe is girls, which at that age was a pretty all consuming thing, so the leftover cringe outshines everything else.

When I see pics of myself as a kid I used to always cringe or look away. Tried having compassion instead, imagining myself giving that kid a hug and some guidance and it was... intense.
