Yes, this. :( The correct term is "vicious cycle" - a "positive feedback loop" whose results are value-"negative" for us.

And anyone whos heard the term "negative feedback loop" has almost certainly also heard "vicious cycle" and should know when to use which one, unless theyre just flat out not paying attention.

The only people confused by his phrasing this way would be nerdy pedants who he probably didn't care about reaching as much I guess he could have said not-good feedback loop but it rings kind of orwellian
