maybe long private sector biotech. going to be lots of really good phds looking for industry work at least in the medium term. not so optimistic longer run unless an alternative training system is developed speculation, im not deeply familiar with this pipeline but on the margin

we've been trying to fill entry level positions, interviewing recent grads from big name universities. it's not good. i have to assume all the actual clever people are getting sucked up by insane tech salaries but these children just are not educated.
