practical question. spose you work at a large tech company if you have a stock drop on date X and give two weeks notice on like, X-10 what are the odds theyre like "yeah man naw why dont you make X-1 your last day"

You could definitely negotiate terms of your departure. Typically there’s an ex-date after which it’s committed to you anyway. So other large tech company, startup, or finance?
