It would be based on employment at lock-in date, not disbursal, right? So if the stock appears in your account on day X, it was probably guaranteed at X-7, X-14, etc depending on disbursal patterns

For the plebians in the lower ranks, the automated rsu vesting systems make that scenario fairly unlikely unless you're fired

risk is probably low, partially bc i dont think the manager locally making the decision "gets back" that unvested stock in any particularly direct way but obv non-zero risk, if youre just being impatient (vs if you have some other positive thing from leaving earlier)
