also, suburban housewives have the government by the balls, and i imagine enjoy sizeable 401k portfolios no, what i believe is likely coming in the near future is the start of the mother-of-all bear markets this thing could last 10-20 years we could see s&p 1000 again cont...

the economy follows the market the evaporation of everyone's wealth could usher in a new great depression and culture/politics is primed to have some potentially scary reactions to such a massive economic disruption my hope is we bottom out around the time our kids graduate

i'm planning on moving a huge portion of my portfolio to cash sometime in the next couple years but executing something like this is hard if it were easy, i would have made massively more money when i traded crypto before the explosive runup learned some valuable lessons tho

cash makes me nervous with inflation and negative real interest rates. upside to equities is theyre at least sort of a bulwark there. blegh
