looked at getting a separate shed for bikes but discovered I could just get a bike tent for 1/10 the price and 1/4 the hassle of assembly

IDK, then a storm comes and you have to get out into the rain at night and tie the tent down. UV damage vs plastic etc.

its PNW it never storms here gonna pitch it in an enclosed area or right next to the house. think it should be ok worst case scenario i buy another one and its only 80% savings instead of 90%
