In no particular order: -if I wanted to create instant cordon sanitaires and starve out cities in a war, the interstate beltway system probably gets me about 90% of the way there. -a lot of ppl seem to think advanced US mil systems are going to be decisive; I am unconvinced

Suspect many of our frankly pretty Tiffany systems are not going to like the combination of free transport breaking down and/or large amounts of the maintainers just stop showing up to work

One of the things that has stuck out to me about reading about Bosnia or Iraq is how quickly people found out that people they thought were their neighbors and friends would kill them for little or no reason.
