have several months supply of diapers, detergents, soap, etc lots of nonperishable food, also water storage idk i feel pretty well stocked but i have an impulse to continue which is why i ended up buying a splitting maul today. i mean probably gonna need it someday you know

eh its a big complex system, probably lots of vulnerabilities, loss of key sorts of inventory (eg electric transformers) could lead to some really bad cascading problems i dont have a clear model of what's likely but i have a 7mo baby and it seems good to be prudent

I remember doing this circa March 2020. One ultimately gets to a point like "if power goes out, and we run the 1 month supply of candles, what do we do?" You can't buy-through long-term supply shortages. Do a tune up, fill the tank, pick a # of months.
