This is a misunderstanding of why libraries weed. It's not really a woke thing at all (I mean I'm sure it is sometimes, but it's not the main purpose of the practice). Libraries have finite shelf space and need to regularly ditch old titles to make room for new ones.

I get this. I really do. But it should be more well documented & better preserved. Not to mention librarians aren't objective arbiters of shelf space. That they aren't impacted by the current, pervasive cultural shifts seems like a disingenuous claim.
