no one has ever wanted anything as badly as my daughter wants to walk she will spend hours on end pulling herself to her feet on any surface that will support her, then let go and free stand as long as she can half a second or sometimes five or ten seconds will pass, then plop!

she used to be obsessed with the cats but this part of her life is over. yesterday morning i dropped Penelope into the nursery to say hello baby reached out for the cat, but not to grab her tail. no. instead she noticed the cat was just the right height to hoist herself up

since then it's been 24/7 training this kid wakes up in the middle of the night when she's crawled over to a foam block and pulled herself halfway up may you all be so inspired by challenges in your own life
