Maybe so. But this wouldn’t really contradict that obesity is happening due to consuming more energy than needed. Even if our chemical pathways and nutritional needs are complicated How our brain feels about this is what needs to be solved

We can reliably change anyone’s body composition. It’s a complicated choice tired into a lot of neuroses, but changing body composition can be reliably demonstrated with everyone. The idea of change is easier than change

Yeah. Because most people don’t reliably change. Similar to getting addicts to quit. Rarely happens, but that doesn’t mean it’s out of their hands.

Needing to eat less isn’t really an argument that holds though. Asian countries reliably have lower metabolisms when measured and have less weight problems.
