It seems right based on my historical experience thinking things are right, and then actually being right.

If I wanted to make a real argument, I think there is something here like "Thinking like a state" but instead "Thinking like a MRNA Vaccine" -- it captures the structure as we understand it, but maybe misses things the human doesn't see. Or maybe not, I don't know immunology.

i mostly slept through it because it was always at the end of my cell bio courses and i was usually exhausted by end of semester my simple model is 1. whole virus provides many antigen options for immune response 2. mRNA provides a lot of one antigen

so assuming this is correct issue is ok how much does (1) speed/intensity of future response differ from a ton of spike protein training vs. broad exposure to entire virus, and (2) how is this the first attenuated by difference in spike protein between alpha and delta

hunch is assuming not that much difference in effectiveness of natural immunity vs vaccinated, and then drift in spike protein may cut any advantage of vaccine again I have no idea how to set these parameters, pretty naive take on this

I assume
@halvorz can explain why I am wrong, I am guessing that there exist two errors3 replies 0 retweets 9 likes -
priors pretty strongly against this because 1) higher neutralizing antibody titre raised by the mRNA vaccines compared to infection 2) Delta is not *that* immunologically different from previous variants, biggest advantage is speed of replication, not immune escape

3) main advantage of infection would be T-cell response (other viral proteins are not on viral surface, antibodies can't see 'em), which is slower than antibody response so shouldn't really help with faster replication kinetics

im delighted i was as close to being correct as I was thanks :)

The eigenrobot... knows more than you. Also more than me. I, for one, welcome our new eigenlord.
