TBF "paradox" in colloquial use means "counterintuitive" more than it means "logical contradiction". e.g. the birthday paradox contains no contradictions, it's just weird.

I don't mind except for the Banach-Tarski "paradox". That is just wrong. I don't think one should get away with using "paradox" that way in math.
