if you go back fifty years and look to see how the trope of The Common Man is used in news articles, political speeches, stories, etc and compare current usages to The Diverse Person theyre pretty much exactly the same

I haven’t heard the Diverse Person used on the news, granted I don’t watch or read the news much but I’d imagine I’d bump into the term; So the Diverse Person is the average person?
