The degree to which they are “textured” should largely be considered a responsibility and accepted risk of both parties under emancipation. The hard rules that are relevant to third parties shouldn’t be nuanced “we’re you under age”, “was he forcing/threatening you”, etc.

It can be hard to determine the veracity of those claims, since it happens in private, but that is true even under a conservative regime, unless we literally go full Pence and don’t occupy the same spaces.
