Turn Harvard into an American Waterloo and most of the legacies would get in on merit anyways. I'm not saying the failsons of the 0.1% are necessarily great, but they're usually top 10%.

Also wouldn't this spread out the Important Network Students among other universities, increasing their reach? Especially as it would make them less likely to just network with each other

Even true believers in the American ideal tend to be uncomfortable with the idea that Harvard and ivies would shift to primarily housing the elite of East Asian and Indian countries... that's mainly the playground for guys like Yarvin
