im vaccinated and i would really prefer everyone choose to be vaccinated but i dont spend time talking about this for a few reasons. this first is that i dont actually think it would have the desired effect if i just yelled at people about it. relatedly this feels tendentious.

Why should one telegraph reluctance if one thinks some action will yield vastly more positive consequences then negative ones? And especially if one simply doesn’t actually think the negative consequences are particularly large to begin with? Which is the stance of most mandaters

right and that makes me think theyre mostly inconsiderate assholes who shouldnt be setting policy for the population at large
