had a conversation last night about the status of mental illness one position was "maybe it should be stigmatized actually" and i dont agree with that but i also came away thinking that it should also not be valorized
I think people specifically don't like it when other people point it out or frame it like this

imo this is like asking whether orange is good or bad. Just doesn't make for a useful lens. If someone out there's got a super super lame aesthetic like "needing help sucks" that's their own weirdo issue, I'm not sure what to do about that.

But the status/valorized stuff, that's asking "Rad or Lame?", right, so that'd be aesthetics? Or is there a relevance to the social element here? Part of my own aesthetic is to align my social rewards with my aesthetic, but maybe others don't like that?
