One interesting issue is that in tort law, you're responsible for all the harms caused including, presumably, secondary/tertiary/etc infections. So Patient Zero would have liability for all infections, then just declare bankruptcy.

I'm curious, how does the robot imagine negligence and recklessness are defined? They do have technical definitions but to my mind they're not particularly intuitive
