the first was on a bus ride up to duluth i looked out over the rolling prairie and suddenly though to myself. "why work for the man when you could be. the man" longterm i did not actually manage this but i did add an economics major to my degree when i got back to my apartment

hah, this adds context to that greenspun article you linked earlier this week relatedly i made it a point to commit to a career path this summer and have been mulling two choices, and the perspective that article filled in basically took one of those choices out back and shot it
