I don't approve cause I grew up in an actual severely trad environment and I saw it deeply hurt people I loved

OTOH, if the point of trad is to create a functioning society through the stigmatization of certain behaviors (even at the cost of hurting some minority), then that point is completely lost in small voluntary subscription to those norms.
