im not sure. apparently there are west cape secessionists but I have no idea how many. they might need to rely on Chinese or Russian aid. the demographic geography might facilitate it.

Western Cape traditionally not Nguni because Winter rainfall area did not suit Summer rainfall crops - hence khoi / "coloured" and white demographic - but rapidly changing due to large-scale internal Nguni migration and population growth. Secession a suicidal idea - think Biafra

joking aside why do you think suicidal? I don't know anything about the SA military but I can imagine scenarios where it might be feasible for complicated reasons but also don't know anything

I'm in SA at the moment,as it happens, and a secession would be seen as a clear racially-driven rebellion against black majority rule, in a province which is no longer the ethnic population stronghold it once was. SA Defence Force and police are ethnically government supporters.
