this is not a contradiction. instead it demonstrates that even the best schools in the world are bad https://twitter.com/woke8yearold/status/1412842946089607168?s=19 …

Conservative and centrist Whites have been exiting for decades. What has that achieved? One thing people don't get is that the System doesn't care about anyone's little protests and strikes. You'll keep while the Woke march through the institutions.
i dont understand why your going at me about this
Well, it is a public discussion forum I am also, as someone who is constitutionally conservative, deeply frustrated at people who back off from every fight and then can't understand why they keep losing. There is no reason public education has to be a Woke playground.
I wish that it were better but I don't see any way of making it better from within. what seems more likely to me to be successful is competitive pressure from greater school choice, by vouchers or other means, which is likely to achieve all of the things you mentioned wanting
School choice is as likely to lead to Woke, untouchable, charters as anything else. Plus, it's genuinely unfair as the publics have to take the kids no one else wants. And charters still can't and don't scale - if nothing else, unions have to come in to protect teachers.
Do you have any idea how badly charters treat their staff? How high the turnover is? That's part of how they kept costs down. But, if you want people to actually build experience and stay, they need protections. There's a crippling staff shortage where they've made cuts.
our understandings of the world are remarkably divergent and thats fine but i do not thing this is likely to be a fruitful conversation
