i was basically born for this task as one of my constantly-running subroutines is and has been for years "how can i minimize energy expenditures on heating or cooling my environment" this feels like a fundamentally male trait for no reason i can explain

ser did you consider a window full of ceramic pipes with water dripping on them slowly

sadly this is a rental property i used to live in a place with an iron claw tub where i didnt pay for water and I would fill it with max temperature hot water and let that cool for free heat same place i lit on fire

consider external blinds or even just some cloth put on the outside of windows where they are safe to access e.g balcony

yeah, our windows are shit for window units for a number of reasons, and this was what worked i didn't want to just cool a bedroom because Penelope (16yo cat) seems to be getting too warm so I rigged it to work on our balcony door i should have ordered two. oh well
